Directions
From City Airport and Stratford Railway Station:
City Airport and Stratford Railway Station are internationally linked. A taxi ride from either connection to Social and Community Psychiatry takes about 15 minutes (depending on traffic).
Nearest tube stations:
Upton Park and Plaistow (District and Hammersmith and City Lines); from the stations one can walk to Social and Community Psychiatry (about 20 minutes) or take a bus.
Buses:
From Plaistow take the 262 or 473 to Prince Regent Lane (bus stop opposite Newham College). Walk up Glen Road, past Newham General Hospital.
From Upton Park take the 376 which stops outside Newham Centre for Mental Health.
From West Ham Station or Stratford Station, take the 276 bus. The last stop is outside the entrance to Newham Centre for Mental Health.
From the bus station walk up Cherry Tree Lane (about 300 metres) to the Newham Centre for Mental Health and follow signs to the Academic Unit.
Car:
Turn from Prince Regent Lane into Glen Road and at the end of Glen Road into Cherry Tree Lane. After less than 300 metres one reaches the Newham Centre for Mental Health. Follow signs for Academic Unit.
