We provide undergraduate and postgraduate education and carry out research on a range of issues in epidemiological and cultural psychiatry, forensic mental health, and social and community psychiatry.
The diversity of our research reflects the multidisciplinary nature of the Centre. Academic staff includes social scientists, psychologists, nurses and psychiatrists. We have a special interest in ethnicity and culture, health services research, policy, forensic issues, innovative non-pharmacological treatments, and social psychiatry.
