The MRC General Practice Research Framework (GPRF), headed by Dr Madge Vickers, was the successor to the Epidemiology and Medical Care Unit (EMCU) headed by Professor Tom Meade. The GPRF moved out of the Wolfson Institute in 2002. You will find GPRF information via the MRC home page.

The Cardiovascular Research Group was headed by the late Professor George Miller. This group stayed at the Wolfson Institute and became part of the Centre for Environmental and Preventive Medicine.
