Postgraduate Taught Courses

 

The primary aims of the course are to develop student’s ability to think critically about working in mental health and mental health research and to provide a greater knowledge and skills whilst also imparting the professional values and attitudes necessary in health and social care. We offer postgraduate programmes in Psychological Therapies, MSc Cultural and Global Perspectives in Mental Health Care, Creative Arts and Mental Health and Forensic Mental Health, leading to MSc, Postgraduate Diploma or Postgraduate Certificate qualifications.

We offer a professional doctorate in Intercultural Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. This programme uniquely combines the theoretical and practical aspects of psychoanalytic theory with an intercultural approach towards therapeutic treatment with refugees, other minorities and people exposed to torture and other forms of human right violation.
