Postgraduate Taught Courses

The primary aims of the course are to develop student’s ability to think critically about working in mental health and mental health research and to provide a greater knowledge and skills whilst also imparting the professional values and attitudes necessary in health and social care.

Professional Doctorate (DClinPsy)

This programme uniquely combines the theoretical and practical aspects of psychoanalytic theory with an intercultural approach towards therapeutic treatment with refugees, other minorities and people exposed to torture and other forms of human right violation.

Postgraduate Research (PhD)

The Institute is a leading centre in epidemiology and preventive medicine, focusing on research that may make a big impact in reducing disease and disability throughout the world.

Antenatal Screening Courses

Annual intensive courses on antenatal screening for Down’s syndrome have been held at the Wolfson Institute since 1993.
