Professor Jack Cuzick elected as Fellow of the Royal Society

Professor Jack Cuzick from Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) has been elected as a new Fellow of the Royal Society. The election is in recognition of his achievements in the application of basic science discoveries to the practice of medicine, particularly preventive medicine in cancer.

Professor Jack Cuzick, Head of the Centre for Cancer Prevention and Director of the Wolfson Institute of Preventive Medicine, has been recognised for his longstanding achievements in breast cancer research during the Australia and New Zealand Breast Cancer Trials Group's (ANZBCTG) 37th Annual Scientific Meeting in Perth, Western Australia. Professor Cuzick was awarded The Robert Sutherland Award for Excellence in Translational Research, which recognises the achievements of translational researchers and their contributions to improved patient outcomes.
