About the Wolfson Institute
The Institute was established in 1991 and has a staff of around 180 who are active in undergraduate and graduate teaching.
Our aim is to be a centre of excellence in the epidemiology and preventive medicine and to advance the discipline in all its aspects.
Our focus is on academic discipline, research, the translation of research into public health strategies and their practical implementation - all dedicated to the reduction of disease and disability.
We are situated in the heart of the City of London on the beautiful Charterhouse Square Campus.
Charterhouse Square is one of three Queen Mary University of London campuses, all based in the East End of London. Rich in history and diversity, it is in one of the most vibrant and exciting areas of London.
