Profile

After gaining my master's degree in Biotechnology in 2001 at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, I joined the Cancer Registry in Zurich as a research assistant gaining experience in cancer epidemiology.

I started my Queen Mary career in 2003, first with a PhD in breast cancer chemoprevention at the Wolfson Institute of Preventive Medicine under the supervision of Professor Jack Cuzick.

Staying in the Institute (2007) my roles as a statistician then senior statistician have focused on data analysis of breast cancer prevention trials. In July 2013 I was promoted to Lecturer in Medical Statistics.

I have collaborated with several (international) research groups and presented my work at national and international conferences.
