Profile

I am a PhD student working on the project "Hierarchical models in the analysis of congenital anomaly data" under the supervision of Professor Joan Morris and Dr David Prieto (LSHTM) and funded by the MRC.

The aim of my PhD is to develop statistical methods that combine information from several congenital anomaly subgroups simultaneously, thus increasing the power to detect causes or trends in congenital anomalies. Data from the European Surveillance of Congenital Anomalies (EUROCAT) will be used.

I previously worked as a Statistician/Research Assistant in the field of genetic epidemiology at the UCL Institute for Child Health (2011-2014).

I have a BSc in Mathematics (The University of Manchester, 2009) and an MSc in Medical Statistics (London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, 2011).
